Apparently, Meghan McCain, daddy’s girl to the late senator John McCain and token republican on The View, now has regrets about her failure to oppose President Biden during the presidential campaign. Obviously, we are in Lady Macbeth territory.
Here’s Meghan’s tweet congratulating Biden on his “victory”: “Congratulations Mr. President! JoeBiden – one of the truly decent and moral men I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. Please lead our nation bravely towards healing and bipartisanship.”
And here is Meghan a week later:
“If we’re all just deplorable and need to be reprogrammed, as Katie Couric said, then honestly, they can go to hell. Because I don’t need to be reprogrammed. I just have a different perspective on how the government should be run.”
OK. Now to Lady Macbeth, who had a more realistic understanding of politics, but similarly to McCain, couldn’t live with the consequences of her actions:

Check. The NeverTrump republicans, a tiny slice of the party but amplified by the media, and given plum jobs such as Meghan’s McCain’s puppet republican role on The View, have indeed been fast asleep for four years, and never slumbering more deeply than during the 2020 riots, and the stolen election. Back to Lady Macbeth:

No, Meghan, your hands never will be clean, now that you have played your part in electing Joe Biden as president, driven by your lustful hatred of Donald Trump. At least Lady Macbeth had the rational motivation of the Scottish crown to lead her astray. She didn’t goad her husband to kill King Duncan out of hatred. Oh, and why hate the first president to achieve full Black employment, peace in the Middle East, and a controlled southern border? We on the right will never understand that. It is truly irrational. And here’s what irrational gets you:

Meghan McCain’s mind, infected with a hatred of Donald Trump that is greater than her love of America, to her deaf pillow will discharge her secrets. The rest of us are left cleaning up the mess.
